West End Museum opens.

It is located in the ground floor of the West End Place housing development at 150 Staniford Street. A permanent exhibit entitled “The Last Tenement” that chronicles the destruction of the neighborhood to accommodate urban renewal is installed in 2006. A grand reopening to celebrate the doubling of its hours of operation is held on October 28, 2007
